Getting Started

Install Whiskers, grant the right permissions, choose a transcription model, and learn the recording HUD.

Follow the guides in order, then use the other sections as reference.

  1. Install WhiskersDownload the app, drag it to Applications, and open it for the first time.
  2. Grant permissionsWhiskers needs Microphone and Accessibility access. Screen Recording is optional.
  3. Your first dictationHold Fn, speak, release. The transcript pastes where your cursor is.
